Spanx for men - check out that enhanced profile
I’m sorry, but I couldn’t help but put my hand over my mouth and crack up at the description of this Spanx underwear for men on Amazon.com:
SPANX Style 621. Slim fit brief. High-gauge cotton contours body for a close fit. Strategic lift added for an enhanced profile. 3D innovation reduces irritation in chafe-prone zones. Moderate compression leg. Moisture-wicking cooling zones under groin. Breatheasy Mesh offer perfect fit and cool feel. Contour pouch for support.
It’s that “Strategic lift added for an enhanced profile” that got me to laughing.
Boy, Sara Blakely really knows what men want, and just how to sell it to them, heh?
George Costanza might not have worried about the “Shrinkage! I was in the pool!” event if he’d gotten some Spanx undies on before that lady walked in on him.
But seriously, at first I didn’t see the point of the Spanx underwear for men — I mean, do guys really worry how big their butts look like us women do? — but now I’m starting to see the light, of sales tactics, that is.
At some point, the underwear does come off, so we are what we are, and God bless us for it.
No customer reviews yet for the Spanx briefs for men, but maybe soon:

I had an interesting thought today during my bike ride, which was: “Can Spanx for Men help guys keep their ‘stuff’ or ‘junk’ (as it were) under control?”
I was thinking of the scene in Bishop T.D. Jakes’ movie titled “Woman Thou Art Loosed: On the 7th Day” that I saw with a friend the other night, whereby the lead character, played by Blair Underwood, was in bed with his movie wife, Sharon Leal.
As acting goes, sometimes actors are pitted in situations where they have to get really close — and, playing a husband and wife, the lead couple had some close scenes, which got me to thinking, how do men control themselves?
I’m glad I’m a woman writing this. We don’t really have to worry about such things. But I thought of the guys who wear all sorts of things to hide their excitement, or the one actor who was told by an actress that she’d be offended if he didn’t get excited in such close quarters — perhaps because that meant he wasn’t attracted to her.
Anyway, I’m sure guys have all their secrets — stuff I don’t know — about how to control things, but I was thinking that the 3D design of the Spanx products may or may not help a man in this area.
Like when guys get professional massages, I was thinking I kind of feel sorry for them — or the reports guys have of growing up and not wanting to be called to the chalk board in school, back when they had those things.
Okay, there are my random thoughts for today thus far.
